Flax - It's Blooming Friday!

The Botanical Garden of Uppsala
On our way to our ‘summerhouse’ we decided to stop at The Botanical Garden in Uppsala . Uppsala is halfway and perfect for a quick stop. Hip, hip, hurra! Linnaeus
Vår store botaniker Carl von Linné skulle fyllt 300 år i dag. Happy Birthday to Linnaeus! Just 1,54 cm tall but still huge. One of the worlds greatest scientist. Born in 1707 in Råshult as son of a priest. He grew up in Stenbrohult, moved to Uppsala where he married Sara and got a lot of children. 5 of them reached adulthood.
