Bad weather...kill some time with Slowbaking....

.....this bread takes two days to make, but it IS worth waiting for. It is from the most southern region of Sweden, Skåne. Rather dark and quite sweet bread made from rye, flavoured with caraway seeds.Black rye bread, Tyra baking bread...no Tyra baking bread! no...but it is a pretty picture. Squash and Pumpkin Parade

CLICK TO ENLARGE!Cucurbita maxima Duchesne 'Blue Hubbard' and 'Marina di Chioggia' are the green ones at the bottom. The yellow/orange one I think really looks like a how pumpkin should look like, it's a Pumpkin Racer F1. The rest are just small one's that I grow purely for decorations. The Big Dig part II. The Roses

The Roses Done, 39 roses are down ready for the long rest. Det var verkligen ett slavjobb. Tungt och skitigt rent ut sagt. The Big Dig

October is absolutely perfect for planting. This is my project "The Big Dig" . I'm going to plant 39 roses. 12 different kind of roses 3 of each except for Rosa Rugosa 'Hansa' that is my husbands favorite so of those I have 6.
